The hotel was clean and excellent value with free wi-fi. Our room was good-sized with a delightful view of the rooftops. Private bathroom was modern.

the location of the hotel was particularly good - at a short distance from west hoe park. it was located in a very pleasant area not far from parades during the shrine festivals, convenient stores and restaurants, shops, karaume oike train station exit 1, a great place for me.

Convenieent location near Karasuma metro line, walking distance to many attractions of Kyoto, yet sheltered from traffic in a little side-street off Oike-dori. Well-kept hotel with helpful staff. Buffet-style breakfast caters to both Asian and Western tastes. Twin room was sufficiently spacious. Unbeatable offer through Booked.net.
Double/single rooms are rather small.

Room clean and well organised, nice bathroom. Extremely conveniently located for centre and sightseeing as right around the corner from subway stop. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff helping with information about sightseeing, transport and restaurants. Would book it again anytime
Had a single room that was perfectfor me, but would find it a bit crowded if that room would also be used for two people

Overall good value for money. Location is central. Everything essential provided.Very clean. Recommendable for business people.
The single room was very small. At the reception staff wasn`t always friendly. (Depended on the person.)

The rooms here are a good size and look all shiny and new. Plus, they've got stuff like central heating, pay TV, and a fridge. the location is super convenient, and the staff are all experts at what they do. 🌟

Hotel staff is very friendly, and the room is clean and of reasonable size for the price. Is it right at the exit of the subway line (but a little difficult to find because it is tugged in a side alley).
There is no international channel on tv except for one bbc channel, which I did not know was there until almost the last day of my stay.

I recently stayed at Hearton Hotel in Kyoto for a week-long trip. The hotel's cleanliness was excellent, and its location was unbeatable. The breakfast options, with both Japanese and western styles, were delicious. One unique feature was the free bicycle rental service, which allowed me to explore the city and its narrow streets. The room had all the necessities, including plenty of towels and mosquito repellent. The surrounding area was full of kiosks, eateries, and craft-beer bars. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the proximity to attractions like the Imperial Palace and Nojojo Castle was a definite plus.
I do recommend this hotel.

Hotel location is very convenient for shopping, travelling ( very close to Imperial Palace, Manga Museum, subway, several Castles and also downtown) and also with subway it is only 20 minutes from Kyoto Conference Convention Center.
Yes rooms are small but all the hotels I have seen there is small in compared to US.

Hotel lobby area very relaxing; good facilities, e.g. coin-operated laundry, vending machines, fridge in room. Good bed and shower facilities in room.
No safe in room. Noise from maid's room/laundry next door to our room (601).
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
